TE-2E Explosive Ammunition

Thadius Enterprises in its quest for bigger bang for the buck (and bigger bucks for their pockets) have scoured the Megaverse(c) for the ultimate small arms ammunition. What they have come up with is a modified version of the WI-2E (Mercenaries) ammo from Wellington Industries. Instead of using a normal lead slug filled with regular high explosive Thadius Enterprises has gone one step further and created something a little more powerful.

The TE-2E round is made up of a depleted uranium slug filled with K-Hex (Phase World Sourcebook) that quadruples (4X) the damage of a normal slug. For example a 9mm explosive bullet does 8D6 S.D.C. or a Rail Gun that does 1D4X10 for a 40 round burst now does 4D4X10.

For regular slug throwers (non-rail, non-energy guns) there is also a "Ramjet" (Mercenaries) version. The TE-2E-RJ is a jet propelled round that fires the slugs at near rail gun speeds, giving even a .22 pistol Mega Damage capabilities.

This ammunition is not recommended for fully automatic, single barrel weapons (Gattling style weapons do not have this issue) due to the high probability of jamming and subsequent detonation of the K-Hex explosive (2% cumulative chance per each round in burst. i.e. a 30 round burst has a 60% chance of backfiring).
Damage: TE-2E: 4X normal slug damage.

TE-2E-RJ:
.22 and .25: 1D4 M.D.
.32 and 7.62mm: 1D6 M.D.
.38 and 9mm: 2D4 M.D.
.44 and .45: 2D6 M.D.
.50: 2D8 M.D.

Cost:
TE-2E: 5 to 25 credits per bullet (depending on caliber).
TE-2E-RJ: 15 to 75 credits per bullet (depending on caliber).
