Borg C.H.I.P.
By: Joshua Brink
The TE-7 Borg C.H.I.P. (Cybernetic Hyper Intoxication Processor) is the device that Thadius Enterprises was founded on.
This device, about the size of a pack of cigarettes plugs into
the cybernetic Universal Headjack on Borgs and simulates the
feeling of being intoxicated.
Different levels and types of intoxication can be simulated
from a light beer buzz to a full out tequila bender. The feeling
automatically stops as soon as the "Chip" is removed or a more
gentle come down after a preset period of time. The use of the
"Chip" has no permanent side effects.
Cost: The price of the Chip greatly varies depending on the
type of intoxication. At a bar "Chip" rental for one hour costs
about 50% more than the price of the drink type being simulated.
To purchase personal unit costs anywhere from 2000 credits for a
cheep beer buzz to 25000 credits for a vintage champagne
high.
Duration: It can be set for any length of time. The "Chip"
will work for up to 10 hours on a single chargeand can be
jury-rigged to an E-clip (20 hours on a short clip or 30 hours on
a long clip).
